Light and tender croissants with the hearty taste of whole wheat. Make sure that you use whole wheat pastry flour not whole wheat bread flour.

  • 1 ½ tablespoons honey
  • 1 ¾ cups whole wheat pastry flour
  • 2 cups butter (cut into 1/2 inch cubes)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
