Very Simple Spelt Bread

Description

Utterly Simple Spelt Bread made without yeast, so you won’t have to wait all day to enjoy fresh bread.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups spelt flour
  • ½ cup sesame seeds
  • ½ teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon blackstrap molasses
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 4 ¼ cups milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease two 9×5-inch loaf pans.
  2. Combine spelt flour
  3. milk
  4. sesame seeds
  5. molasses
  6. baking soda
  7. and salt in a large bowl until well blended; divide batter evenly between the prepared pans.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven until golden
  9. about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
