Description
These fries are a healthy alternative to the old standard French fries. The Italian seasoning and lemon pepper add an interesting twist to this vegetable.
Ingredients
- 4 sweet potatoes, cut into large French fries
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon lemon pepper
- 1 pinch salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Place sweet potatoes and water into a microwave-safe dish. Cook in the microwave on full power for 5 minutes; drain. Add olive oil

- lemon pepper
- salt
- and pepper; toss to coat.
- Arrange fries on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven

- until fries are crispy on the outside
- about 30 minutes.
