Toasted Pecans

Description

This crunchy snack is easy to make and has a delightful salty flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 6 cups shelled pecans
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C).
  2. Pour the butter into a medium bowl
  3. and mix in the pecans. Stir until the pecans are well coated.
  4. Arrange coated pecans in a single layer on one or two medium baking sheets. Sprinkle with salt.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven approximately 1 hour
  6. stirring occasionally. Remove from heat
  7. cool and store in covered containers.
