Tiffany’s Sauteed Mushrooms

Description

This quick and easy side dish has a nice and subtle sweet taste with a spicy after bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
  • ½ cup diced red onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 ½ tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • ½ teaspoon white sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat; add mushrooms
  2. onion
  3. garlic
  4. balsamic vinegar
  5. Worcestershire sauce
  6. salt
  7. and black pepper. Bring mixture to a simmer and cook until liquid is 2/3 reduced
  8. about 10 minutes; sprinkle with sugar. Cook and stir until sugar is dissolved
  9. 1 to 3 minutes.

Cook Time: 15 mins

Total Time: 25 mins
