The Best Unbaked Cherry Cheesecake Ever

Description

Light and fluffy unbaked cheesecake. Very fast and easy to make. Husband refuses to eat baked cheesecake after eating this!

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ¼ cup margarine, softened
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • 1 (12.5 ounce) can cherry pie filling (or other filling of your choice)

Instructions

  1. Mix together graham cracker crumbs
  2. margarine
  3. and sugar for crust in a bowl until well incorporated and crumbly. Press mixture into a 9-inch pie plate
  4. going up the sides as much as possible.
  5. Beat cream cheese
  6. powdered sugar
  7. and vanilla for filling in a bowl with an electric mixer until smooth and spreadable.
  8. Beat cream in a chilled glass or metal bowl with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
  9. Fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth. Pour filling into the prepared crust.
  10. Smooth the top with a spatula
  11. and refrigerate until firm
  12. about 2 to 3 hours.
  13. Spread cherry pie filling over the chilled cheesecake.
  14. Serve immediately or refrigerate until serving.
