Sweet and peppery biscuits, great for ham sandwiches with a little honey mustard. You can substitute pumpkin or winter squash for the sweet potato.

  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup butter
  • 1 cup cold mashed sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
