Description
I love to use this as a dip for pita bread.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup tahini
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon sesame oil
- 5 dashes hot pepper sauce (such as Cholula®)
- 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoons cold water
Instructions
- Combine tahini
- olive oil
- lemon juice
- garlic
- cayenne pepper
- cumin
- salt
- sesame oil
- and hot sauce in a food processor or blender; blend until very smooth
- about 3 minutes. Add garbanzo beans and blend for 2 minutes. Add water and blend for 3 minutes more. Chill in refrigerator.
