Strawberry Cake Filling

Description

Easy to make filling that isn’t too sweet.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 ½ cups frozen strawberries, thawed and cut into bite size pieces
  • ¾ cup white sugar

Instructions

  1. Whisk water and cornstarch together in a large saucepan. Stir in strawberries and sugar.
  2. Cook over medium heat until thickened
  3. about 10 minutes. Allow to cool completely before use.

Cook Time: 10 mins

Total Time: 45 mins
