Spicy Shrimp Primavera

Description

A spicy shrimp tomato sauce! Allergic to shellfish? Just don’t like shrimp? Use small bite-size pieces of chicken for the shrimp or just go meatless!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced green bell pepper
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red bell pepper
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced onion
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced jalapeno pepper
  • ¼ cup sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 (12 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 tomato, seeded and chopped
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 ½ teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¾ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 pound cooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 (16 ounce) package angel hair pasta
