Southern Fried Apples

Description

I have a very basic recipe to add some sweetness to breakfast or any meal. Serve garnished with additional cinnamon if desired.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 4 Granny Smith apples – peeled, cored, and sliced

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sugar and cinnamon; stir until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add apples and cook until softened
  3. 5 to 8 minutes.

Prep Time: 10 mins

Cook Time: 10 mins

Total Time: 20 mins
