Description
Buttermilk lends the dressing a distinctive flavor, and grapes and cashews lend it richness. I have found that it works best if I add the dressing all at once, but if there is any left over, pass it around to people separately.
Ingredients
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons buttermilk
- ¼ cup minced green onions
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 1 sprig fresh dill weed
- ⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 ½ cups seedless grapes
- 1 cup thinly sliced celery
- 8 leaves red leaf lettuce – rinsed
- ½ cup chopped salted cashews
- 5 sprigs fresh dill weed, for garnish
