Description
This recipe is similar to many others I’ve seen, but in my opinion, these are the BEST! They are also great for bake sales when individually wrapped.
Ingredients
- 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 1 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
- 4 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch pan. Mix together the cake mix
- melted butter and the egg. Stir in the chopped pecans. Press mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Set aside.
- In a large bowl
- beat the cream cheese with the confectioners’ sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time until blended.
- Pour cream cheese mixture over crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Cool in the pan
- then cut into squares before serving.
