Smoked Salmon Sliders with Garlic Aioli

I had these at a party this summer and decided to try making these after getting an electric smoker for Christmas.

Ingredients

  • water as needed
  • ½ cup salt
  • 1 tablespoon dried tarragon
  • 1 ½ pounds salmon fillets
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon lemon zest, or to taste
  • salt, or to taste
  • ½ cup apple wood chips, or as needed
  • 12 slider-size burger buns

Prep Time: 15 mins

Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Total Time: 4 hrs 15 mins
