Slow Cooker Apple Cinnamon Bread Pudding

Description

Bread pudding meets apple pie for a delicious, healthy, and hassle-free dessert. Great option for the leftover bread from last nights meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 Granny Smith apples – peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 3 cups 1-inch bread cubes
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 (12 fluid ounce) cans evaporated skim milk
  • ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Combine apples and bread in the crock of a slow cooker.
  2. Beat eggs together in a bowl. Stir milk
  3. brown sugar
  4. cinnamon
  5. and nutmeg into beaten eggs; pour over apples and bread.
  6. Cook on High until custard forms
  7. 3 to 4 hours.
