Simple Roasted Edamame

Description

A fun-to-eat and healthy snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce) package frozen edamame (soybeans) in their pods
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Toss edamame
  3. olive oil
  4. garlic
  5. sea salt
  6. and black pepper together in a large bowl until well-coated. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  7. Roast in the preheated oven
  8. stirring halfway through
  9. until edamame shells start to brown
  10. about 20 minutes. Serve whole
  11. popping beans out of the shell to eat.
