Simple Grilled Lamb Chops

Description

This very tasty and easy marinade for lamb chops can also be used for steaks.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup distilled white vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 pounds lamb chops

Instructions

  1. Mix together onion
  2. vinegar
  3. oil
  4. garlic
  5. salt
  6. and pepper in a large resealable bag. Add lamb
  7. seal bag
  8. and toss to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  9. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat.
  10. Remove lamb from marinade and leave any onions on that stick to meat; discard marinade. Wrap exposed ends of bones with aluminum foil to keep them from burning.
  11. Cook on the preheated grill to desired doneness
  12. about 3 minutes per side for medium. (The chops may also be broiled in the oven for about 5 minutes per side for medium.)
