Sesame Vegetable Stir-Fry

Description

Broccoli, snow peas, red onion, and bell pepper are stir-fried in sesame oil and seasoned with soy sauce and sesame seeds.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound broccoli
  • ¼ pound fresh snow peas, strings removed
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1/4-inch strips
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • ¼ cup Kikkoman Less Sodium Soy Sauce
  • ½ tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Trim broccoli leaving 1 inch of stem. Cut the remaining stems into small slices. Place broccoli and snow peas in a saucepan of boiling water and cook for 1 minute
  2. drain and rinse immediately with cold water then drain well and set aside.
  3. Heat a large wok or large skillet over high heat. Add sesame oil
  4. blanched broccoli and snow peas
  5. red onion
  6. red bell pepper
  7. and garlic. Stir-fry for 1 minute. Add the snow peas
  8. soy sauce and stir-fry 1 minute longer. Remove from heat and stir in sesame seeds.
