My Mom would make this for us all the time. Now I make it for my family! It is so easy and delicious! Very hard to mess up. If you’d rather bake it in the oven, put potatoes, sausage, and green chiles in a 9×13-inch glass dish and proceed with instructions.

- 2 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 (14 ounce) beef smoked sausage (such as Hillshire FarmsĀ®), cut into 1/2-inch slices
- 2 (4 ounce) cans chopped green chiles
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
