Rye Bread Boat Dip

Description

This is a rye bread boat dip.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sour cream
  • 3 cups mayonnaise
  • 2 (2 ounce) packages dried chipped beef
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 2 teaspoons seasoned salt (such as Spice IslandsĀ® Beau Monde Seasoning)
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf rye bread

Instructions

  1. Combine sour cream
  2. mayonnaise
  3. chipped beef
  4. parsley
  5. onion
  6. seasoned salt
  7. and dill in a bowl until dip is well mixed; chill in refrigerator for 24 hours.
  8. Cut the top off the rye bread and scoop out the bread
  9. breaking into bite-size pieces. Fill bread “boat” with dip. Place bread “boat” on a serving tray and arrange the bread pieces around it.
