Russian Baked Beef

Description

This recipe is very forgiving – you can use tender or tougher cuts of beef. Nice dinner with potatoes and green salad.

  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 1 ½ cups grated mature Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
