Rice with Herbes de Provence

Description

This is a fragrant, yummy rice. It is great with chicken and green beans! This is very easy to make. Substitute a mixture of thyme, marjoram, savory, and rosemary for dried herbes de Provence.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white rice
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 1 ½ teaspoons herbes de Provence
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan stir together rice
  2. chicken stock
  3. herbes de Provence
  4. salt
  5. and pepper. Set over high heat
  6. and bring to a simmer; cover
  7. and cook 20 minutes. Fluff with a fork
  8. and serve.
