Quick Clam Sauce

Description

Makes a tasty sauce that’s great over spaghetti or linguine. Be sure to have a big hunk of Italian bread ready to soak up every last drop!

Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 (6.5 ounce) cans minced clams, with juice
  • 2 (16 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan
  2. lightly brown garlic in olive oil. Stir in parsley
  3. clams with juice
  4. crushed tomatoes
  5. salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Simmer for 45 minutes. Serve over cooked pasta.
