Pumpkin Spiced Dump Cake

Description

This is my favorite dessert! It is an easy dessert to prepare and everyone loves it. They all want the recipe.

Ingredients

  • cooking spray
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 ½ cups white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • ¾ cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. Mix pumpkin
  3. evaporated milk
  4. sugar
  5. eggs
  6. vanilla extract
  7. cinnamon
  8. and nutmeg together in a bowl; pour into the prepared baking pan.
  9. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture; top with pecans. Drizzle melted butter on top.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown
  11. about 1 hour.
