This has got to be one of the easiest recipes for Thanksgiving I have ever made. It is requested every year. Of course, to make it taste better I make it the day before and then reheat it in the crock pot.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 pounds cubed fully cooked ham
- 3 (29 ounce) cans pumpkin puree
- 1 (32 ounce) carton chicken broth
- ⅔ cup cream
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon fresh rosemary
