Powdered Sugar Cookies I

Description

Sugar cookies that melt in your mouth.

Ingredients

• 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup vegetable oil
• 1 pinch salt
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 4 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

1. Beat sugars
2. margarine
3. vegetable oil and salt very well. Add eggs and dry ingredients.
4. Make into balls
5. roll in sugar and place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
6. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 8 minutes. For holidays or special occasions
7. roll in colored sugar instead of white sugar.
