Poppy Seed Chicken Pasta Salad

Description

My boyfriend is not a fan of pasta salads and he couldn’t get enough of it! You can omit the pasta and place salad on sandwich roll or bread for a yummy chicken salad sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fusilli (spiral) pasta
  • 1 ½ cups cubed cooked chicken
  • 6 tablespoons chopped onion
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries
  • ¼ cup chopped celery
  • ¼ cup slivered almonds
  • ½ cup poppy seed salad dressing

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta in the boiling water
  2. stirring occasionally
  3. until cooked through but firm to the bite
  4. 12 minutes; drain
  5. rinse in cold water
  6. and drain again.
  7. Toss pasta
  8. chicken
  9. onion
  10. cranberries
  11. celery
  12. and almonds together in a salad bowl; drizzle with poppy seed dressing and stir to coat.

Cook Time: 10 mins

Total Time: 30 mins
