Pineapple Sorbet

Description

Sweet and tangy pineapple sorbet. Perfect for summer. The mint perks up the pineapple flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 pineapple – peeled, cored, and cut into chunks
  • 1 (6 ounce) can pineapple juice
  • ¾ cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon vodka
  • 2 leaves fresh mint

Instructions

  1. Place pineapple

  6. and mint in a food processor and process until smooth.
  7. Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions
  8. about 20 minutes. Transfer to an airtight container; put in the freezer for at least 6 hours before serving so it can firm up.
