Pat’s Mushroom Saute

Description

My son-in-law makes the best sauteed mushrooms; and now, so do I! Eat them hot out of the pan; they don’t reheat well.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ⅛ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 pound button mushrooms, sliced

Instructions

  1. Melt butter with oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in balsamic vinegar
  2. garlic
  3. oregano
  4. and mushrooms. Saute for 20 to 30 minutes
  5. or until tender.

Prep Time: 5 mins

Cook Time: 30 mins

Total Time: 35 mins

Servings: 4
