Pan-Seared Chicken Tenderloin

Description

A simple combination of seasonings with olive oil and lemon juice makes these chicken tenderloins so delicious!

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken tenderloins, or more to taste
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons paprika, or more to taste
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder, or more to taste
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder, or more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ lemon

Instructions

  1. Place chicken tenderloins in a bowl. Add 3 tablespoons olive oil
  2. salt
  3. and pepper; stir to coat. Add paprika
  4. garlic powder
  5. onion powder
  6. Cajun seasoning
  7. and chili powder. Toss thoroughly with tongs or a spoon.
  8. Heat remaining olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  9. Place chicken in hot oil and cook
  10. covered
  11. for 6 minutes. Squeeze lemon juice over chicken. Flip and cook until a dark
  12. crispy crust forms
  13. about 6 more minutes.
