I had a few fresh green beans that I needed to cook. I did not have enough for a meal, so I came up with this for a side dish. We loved it!

Ingredients

  • ½ pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ pound crimini mushrooms, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup seasoned almond slices
