Norris’ Sesame Pasta Salad

Description

Do not question whether or not to try this recipe. It is a nice pasta salad for any occasion that, once tasted, one cannot resist having some more.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • ½ cup sesame oil
  • 7 tablespoons honey
  • 6 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ¼ cup corn oil
  • 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup chopped fresh cilantro, or more to taste
  • ¾ cup shaved green onions, or more to taste
  • ⅓ cup honey-roasted peanuts, or more to taste
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti in the boiling water
  2. stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite
  3. about 12 minutes; drain.
  4. Mix spaghetti
  5. sesame oil
  6. honey
  7. soy sauce
  8. corn oil
  9. red pepper flakes
  10. and salt together in a large bowl until spaghetti is evenly coated. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Add cilantro
  11. green onions
  12. peanuts
  13. and sesame seeds; toss to combine.

Total Time: 4 hrs 25 mins
