New York System Hot Wiener Sauce II

Description

This is a hot meat sauce that is put on hot dogs (wieners) here in Rhode Island. It’s usually added after the mustard and chopped onions and topped with celery salt.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 ½ cups chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon beef bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar

Cook Time: 30 mins

Total Time: 45 mins
