Nana’s Barbeque Sauce

Description

This is a delicious and easy barbeque sauce that has been in my family for years. It is terrific on ribs and chicken.

Ingredients

• 1 cup ketchup
• ¼ cup white vinegar
• ½ cup brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons chopped onion
• 2 teaspoons lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
• ¼ teaspoon black pepper
• ⅛ teaspoon ground allspice
• 1 pinch celery salt
• 1 pinch mustard powder

Instructions

1. Combine ketchup
2. vinegar
3. sugar
4. onion
5. and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Season with Worcestershire sauce
6. black pepper
7. allspice
8. celery salt
9. and mustard powder. Simmer over medium low heat for 5 minutes.
