Monster Cookie Bars

These rich cookie bars are savory and sweet packed with monsterly delicious peanut butter, oats, milk chocolate chips, and candy coated pieces!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup LAND O LAKES® Butter, softened
  • ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ⅓ cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • ½ cup candy-coated milk chocolate pieces (such as M&M’s®)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. Cream together butter and brown sugar. Mix in egg and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl
  4. whisk flour
  5. baking powder
  6. and sea salt together. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the butter/sugar mixture. Mix thoroughly.
  7. Stir in creamy peanut butter
  8. oats
  9. chocolate chips
  10. and candy-coated chocolates. Spread mixture evenly in prepared baking pan.
  11. Bake until set
  12. 25 to 27 minutes. Allow to fully cool before cutting into bars.
