Marinated Flank Steak

Description

A wonderful flank steak on the grill recipe I invented that friends just love! My girls think this is great, and it doesn’t take long to grill. This also works great when sliced and used for fajitas.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ½ tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 ½ pounds flank steak

Instructions

  1. Whisk together oil
  2. soy sauce
  3. vinegar
  4. lemon juice
  5. Worcestershire sauce
  6. Dijon mustard
  7. garlic
  8. and pepper for marinade in a 9×13-inch glass baking dish until thoroughly combined.
  9. Add flank steak to the baking dish; turn several times to coat thoroughly with marinade. Cover
  10. and refrigerate for 2 to 6 hours
  11. or up to 12 hours if you have time.
  12. When ready to cook
  13. preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  14. Remove steak from the marinade and shake off excess. Discard the remaining marinade.
  15. Cook steak on the preheated grill for about 5 minutes per side
  16. or to desired doneness.
  17. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Cook Time: 10 mins

Total Time: 6 hrs 25 mins
