Maple Glazed Ribs

Description

Basted with a savory sweet sauce, these ribs are definitely finger-licking good!

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds baby back pork ribs
  • ¾ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder

Instructions

  1. Place ribs in a large pot
  2. and cover with water. Cover
  3. and simmer for 1 hour
  4. or until meat is tender. Drain
  5. and transfer ribs to a shallow dish.
  6. In a small saucepan
  7. stir together the maple syrup
  8. brown sugar
  9. ketchup
  10. vinegar
  11. Worcestershire sauce
  12. salt
  13. and mustard powder. Bring to a low boil
  14. and cook for 5 minutes
  15. stirring frequently. Cool slightly
  16. then pour over ribs
  17. and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  18. Prepare grill for cooking with indirect heat. Remove ribs from marinade. Transfer marinade to a small saucepan
  19. and boil for several minutes.
  20. Lightly oil grate. Cook for about 20 minutes
  21. basting with the cooked marinade frequently
  22. until nicely glazed.
