  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 pound uncooked medium shrimp – peeled and deveined, tails left intact
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper (Optional)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ lemon, cut into wedges
