Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting

Description

Great flavor and so creamy. Great on Daffodil cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • ΒΌ cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5 cups confectioners’ sugar

Instructions

  1. Beat cream cheese
  2. butter
  3. lemon juice
  4. lemon zest
  5. and vanilla together in a large bowl using an electric mixer until smooth and fluffy; gradually beat in confectioners’ sugar
  6. 1 cup at a time
  7. until desired consistency is reached.
