Lee’s Salmon Baste

Description

This was a ‘secret’ recipe some guy in Michigan gave my parents. Too good not to share.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup Catalina salad dressing
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 pinch dried dill weed
  • 6 (4 ounce) fillets salmon

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
  2. Whisk Catalina salad dressing
  3. melted butter
  4. lemon juice
  5. Worcestershire sauce
  6. brown sugar
  7. garlic powder
  8. onion powder
  9. and dill together in a bowl. Brush over the salmon fillets.
  10. Cook salmon on the preheated grill
  11. basting regularly with the sauce
  12. until the flesh flakes easily with a fork
  13. about 15 minutes.

Cook Time: 15 mins

Total Time: 25 mins
