Description
Simmer a blend of tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, basil, sugar, and minced onion for a yummy sauce for pizza. I can’t have garlic, dairy (from cows), or gluten, but I can have pizza with this sauce on a gluten-free pizza crust and by using Gouda goat cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- ½ teaspoon dried basil
- ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon minced onion
Instructions
- Stir tomato sauce
- sugar
- basil
- Italian seasoning
- and minced onion together in a saucepan over medium heat; bring to a simmer
- reduce heat to low
- and cook for 10 minutes.
