Japanese Salad Dressing

Description

A perfect blend of flavors for a salad dressing that will get you rave reviews. Serve at once or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Shake or stir well before serving.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
  • ⅓ cup minced onion
  • ¼ cup minced celery
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ½ lime, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Pulse ginger
  2. onion
  3. and celery in a food processor until thoroughly combined. Scrape down sides of food processor with a spatula. Add soy sauce
  4. lime juice
  5. sugar
  6. ketchup
  7. and pepper; process until combined
  8. 10 to 20 seconds. Stream oil in a thin stream into the mixture with the processor running; process until well blended.
