Japanese Ginger Salad Dressing

Description

This is a great dressing just like the kind they serve in the Japanese steakhouses.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup olive oil
  • ΒΌ cup soy sauce
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
  • 1 teaspoon prepared Dijon-style mustard
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl
  2. whisk together the soy sauce
  3. lemon juice
  4. garlic
  5. ginger
  6. mustard
  7. honey and pepper. Once these are thoroughly combined
  8. add the oil in a steady stream
  9. whisking constantly. When all of the oil is incorporated into the dressing
  10. pour into a glass jar and chill until serving.
