Description

A simple crusty Italian style loaf bread.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 ⅛ cups warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
  • 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 ½ teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon cornmeal

Cook Time: 30 mins

Total Time: 2 hrs 40 mins
