Imitation Crab Bisque

Description

Easy to make cream-based soup with imitation crab that has been enjoyed by family and friends for years. I recommend warm sourdough bread for dipping.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound imitation crabmeat
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of shrimp soup
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
  • ⅔ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 1 tablespoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce, or more to taste
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®), or to taste
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 quart half-and-half

Instructions

  1. Combine imitation crab
  2. both condensed soups
  3. mayonnaise
  4. onion
  5. bell pepper
  6. celery
  7. seafood seasoning
  8. Worcestershire sauce
  9. hot sauce
  10. salt
  11. and pepper in a stock pot. Slowly add half-and-half and bring to a simmer. Simmer until hot
  12. about 30 minutes.
