Description
Nargisi kofta is boiled eggs stuffed inside a shell of kheema. This dish is a little time consuming, but makes a fantastic party dish. Your guests will be impressed.
Ingredients
- 1 ¼ pounds ground lamb
- 1 cup water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric
- salt to taste
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 tablespoons chickpea flour
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 3 green chile peppers, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon ground red pepper
- 8 eggs
- oil for deep frying
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 8 wedges lime, as garnish
