Hugh’s Dry Rub

Description

Use this dry rub on your favorite meat before grilling. It stores well in an airtight container, and I’ve had a lot of positive feedback no matter what I cook it on.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup paprika
  • 3 tablespoons cayenne pepper
  • 5 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 6 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons onion powder
  • 6 tablespoons salt
  • 2 ½ tablespoons dried oregano
  • 2 ½ tablespoons dried thyme

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl
  2. combine the paprika
  3. cayenne pepper
  4. ground black pepper
  5. garlic powder
  6. onion powder
  7. salt
  8. oregano
  9. and thyme. Mix well
  10. and store in a cool
  11. dry place in an airtight container.
