Hot and Spicy Pecans

Description

These pecans aren’t too hot, but you can leave out the red pepper if you like them milder, or increase it to taste. These make a great snack or appetizer for the holidays, or anytime.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl
  3. mix butter
  4. Worcestershire sauce
  5. red pepper
  6. salt
  7. and garlic powder. Stir in the pecans
  8. and gently toss with chili powder to coat.
  9. Spread coated pecans on a medium baking sheet
  10. and cook 30 minutes in the preheated oven
  11. stirring approximately every 10 minutes.

Cook Time: 30 mins

Total Time: 40 mins
