Horseradish Mustard Slaw

The perfect slaw for your burger.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chopped cabbage
  • 3 carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 3 ribs celery, chopped
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 2 tablespoons stone-ground mustard
  • ½ teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ teaspoon celery seed
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground mustard

Instructions

  1. Combine cabbage
  2. carrots
  3. and celery in a large bowl. Whisk vinegar sugar
  4. salt
  5. and pepper together in a small bowl; pour over cabbage and stir until well coated. Refrigerate cabbage mixture for 15 minutes.
  6. Mix mayonnaise
  7. horseradish
  8. and mustard together in a bowl; stir into cabbage mixture. Add parsley
  9. celery seed
  10. onion powder
  11. and mustard; mix well. Refrigerate until chilled
  12. at least 30 minutes.
