Heather’s Grilled Salmon

Description

An easy delicious way to grill salmon. This also reheats nicely for lunches the next day!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons lemon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the brown sugar
  2. olive oil
  3. soy sauce
  4. lemon pepper
  5. thyme
  6. basil
  7. parsley
  8. and garlic powder in a bowl
  9. and pour into a resealable plastic bag. Add the salmon fillets
  10. coat with the marinade
  11. squeeze out excess air
  12. and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour
  13. turning occasionally.
  14. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat
  15. and lightly oil the grate. Remove the salmon from the marinade
  16. and shake off excess. Discard the remaining marinade.
  17. Grill the salmon on the preheated grill until browned and the fish flakes easily with a fork
  18. about 5 minutes on each side.
